Week 19 of the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge is to share a FORCE OF NATURE.

Forces of nature are considered events that we cannot control, for example  tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and of course volcanoes.

We had the opportunity to visit the Volcán Masaya in Nicaragua, a shield caldera which consists mainly of 3 craters: the San Fernando, the Santiago and the San Pedro. However, the Santiago crater is the only one that still has any activity.
