As mentioned in last week’s experience [click here to read Take 2] I had previously gotten reservations for last night’s Practice Dinners at the Hilton with the T&T National Culinary Team, 2013! (so no waitlist this week! yay!)

The company at our table was once again lovely, filled with great and interesting conversations. I was accompanied this time by IntrovertlyBubbly and another friend, so enjoying this experience with their company was also a highlight.

As scheduled, the night started with a drinks demonstration – the same one as last week (one of the alcoholic options). As we experienced from the previous weeks, the bartender practised, prepared and presented the drink as if he were performing for the competition. Very exciting.

The ‘Taste of the Islands’ – a pre-appetizer category was then brought to us, followed by our three-course meal (Appetizer, Main Course & Dessert). Unfortunately there are no pictures of the Taste of the Islands this week, as it was enjoyed before the camera came out…

Once again, as this is a competition (June 26-30 2013, in Miami) that the Culinary Team are preparing for, I won’t be sharing the menu and/or ingredients [yet]. Even so, please enjoy these pictures of our beautiful, delicious meal.
